For Shinso's 17th birthday, you went out and bought him twin calico kittens- Mocha, the female calico who had brown eyes, and Matcha, the male calico who had green eyes.

Shinso adored the cats, spending a lot of time with them. It was fine at first, they were kittens, and kittens needed attention. But the more time he spent with them, the less time he was with you. He didn't want to hang out with anyone as often anymore, would always be eager to get back to his dorm. The kittens were his center of attention.

It kind of made you jealous.

Tonight, Shinso had invited you over to his dorm- though, he had made some conversation. You sat in a beanbag chair in the corner of his room, watching as Shinso sat on the floor, the small smile prominent on his face as he tossed toys around for the cats to play with.
