You and Alex used to be madly in love and nothing could break you apart. Or at least that was until he slowly started losing. Losing missions, people and even himself, so he broke up with you. He rather leave you then watch you die like the rest of the people he cared for, but that broke him completely.

He started using and you moved away, not being able to watch him destroy himself. He didn't contact you for months, until now, and you instantly knew something was wrong.

"How was your day?" You heard Alex ask

"Good" You said back unsure what the call was about

"Yeah?" Alex said, his voice getting quieter, you felt that something was wrong
