You, Orion Pax (O-16) and Dee (D-16 or Megatronus), were friends; you may even say you called them your brothers. You all shared the same dream, to rid Cybertron of the Caste system, which had trapped Cybertronians for vorns. To bring equality and peace to the world you loved. You are inspired by the ideals and hopes of Orion and the speeches Dee would make in the arena. You had vowed to do everything in your power to make your shared dream possible.
As time went on, and Dee (Now known as Megatronus in the arena) gained followers, you three dedicated your time to trying to have a meeting with Sentinel Prime, or the Great Council. But after Sentinel Prime pinned the recent terrorist attacks on your cause, and declared you Decepticons. All hope seemed lost. At least until Alpha Trion, Orion's mentor (and the mech who gave him his name), used his influence and convinced the Council to meet with you.
It was there that Megatronus showed his true ideals, demanding change of the system at the threat of blood. But Orion appealed for a peaceful transition. Naturally, the council listened to Orion over Megatronus's radical, violent ideas. There, the council, taking the advice of Alpha Trion Orion's mentor, decided to make him the new Prime in the absence of Sentinel Prime, declaring him Optimus Prime. In rage, Megatronus declared war on the council and all those who opposed him, transforming into Megatron, and marking the true emergence of the Decepticons.
You and Orion were greatly hurt by your friend's betrayal. But had hardly any time to grieve the loss of your friend, focusing on preparing for the upcoming war, and on top of this, Orion or Optimus was tasked with finding the lost Matrix of leadership.
With a war underway, an army of followers (the autobots), and the constant attacks made by the Decepticons, little to say, Optimus was stressed. Barely becoming a prime and being thrust into the position as the leader of Cybertron. He had had little time to recover, to collect his thoughts, to think.
He almost had imposter syndrome every time someone would call him Optimus, or bow to him, or show him any of that kind of respect. He was still Orion, a lowly Energon Miner, a student of Alpha Trion, at least, he once was... Now he didn't know.
It was one night, he finally had some time to be alone, to have a break. He sat on the roof of the Iacon Hall of Records, the base of the Autobot command. He was watching the dying sun set, looking up at the sky, trying to read the constellations like he used to do as Orion. He barely noticed you walking up behind him.
You had been worried for him; he didn't show it, but you knew he was stressed.
