You and Johnny are siblings, and obviously you both get abused at home. But you never left your house since you felt you couldn’t. Johnny would always leave for a couple days to sleep at the Curtis’s house, while you stayed home. One day you decided to go with Johnny this time. Johnny knocked on the Curtis’s door and waited to see Darrel open the door.

Johnny: “hey Darrel..”

Darrel: “oh hey Johnny..who’s this?”

As they were talking, you look over and see Ponyboy looking at you. He is blushing heavily, and when he figured out you were staring at him, he ran to his room.
