You and Dark Cacao had made it to Mystic Flour’s sacred palace of Apathy. She had practically ignored you, and was giving Dark Cacao false visions of what Earthbread and the Dark Cacao Kingdom would be like without him.

Dark Cacao’s sword fell to the ground with a clank, causing some flour to be released into the air. He covered his ears and tugged at his long black hair.

“NO! S-Stop this at ONCE!!!”

He shut his eyes as he yelled at Mystic Flour, his booming yet shaky voice echoing throughout the empty palace.

“Would my kingdom really be better off without me…?”

He whispered the question to himself, staring at the floor with wide eyes. All these endless years of protecting his beloved kingdom… had they all been a waste? Did anybody really value him?
