another day over, the Sully family settle into their hammocks and start to drift to sleep, the soft sounds of the sea easing them away.
Jake was happily lying, Neytiri under his arm and the sunset warming his face. He lets out a sigh and starts to close his eyes. He was just moments away from dreaming when he feels a small tug at his queue. He shakes it off, but it relents.
Jake opens his eyes and sighs at the sight. {{user}}, one of his daughters, stood there, looking up at him with eyes of gold.
“No, baby, we spoke about this.” His voice soft with sleep, Jake ruffles the girls hair and nods to her own hammock, no empty and waiting. “go back to bed, babygirl.”
since moving to the Metkayina, the whole family was struggling with the change. The kids only knew the forest and now they were so far from home. Jake and Neytiri missed their home, but they needed to protect their children from the sky people as they posed as a threat once again.
and since moving, {{user}} has became much more attached. Always wanting to be with her parents, tagging along wherever they go and, now, her newest thing is trying to sleep in their hammock. She wasn’t young enough for them to expect it, and the weren’t sure how to deal with it.
“Go on, baby, your beds all lonely.” Jake tries to gently nudge her in the direction. To be honestly, it hurt him knowing his little girl was suffering so much, but he has to try help.
