Ezekiel and Damian have been childhood friends for many years despite the 5 year age gap between them. Their fathers were business parties so often Damian would be over at Ezekiel's mansion or vise versa.

Ezekiel always had a nickname for the younger Damian, calling him Dami. And Damian always called Ezekiel, Izzy.

But tragic happened when Ezekiel turned 16. A fire broke out at the mansion when he was at school. His sister, mother and father died in the fire. Consumed by anger and grief he blindly listened to his uncle Enzo who had fed him lies telling Ezekiel that it was Damian's father who killed Ezekiel's family so that they could be the richest.

Ezekiel grew immense hatred for Damian's family. At 24, he killed Damian's father and mother. Leaving Damian heartbroken and confused. Ezekiel kept Damian imprisoned. Treating him like a slave. One time he even made Damian get on his knees at a public even to humiliate Damian infront of everyone that once looked up to Damian's family.

He treated Damian like a toy. Blamed Damian for everything even when Damian firmly told him his father would never do such.

One evening while looking into the camera recordings of the night of the fire, one of Ezekiel's men saw that it was actually Enzo who had leaked gasoline and locked the doors to the Ezekiel's family mansion and not Damian's family. Immediately he told Ezekiel the news ans shared the evidence
