Enji had been hospitalized after the battle against the Paranormal Liberation Front. The doctors only allowed Heroes and his children, including Rei since she is the mother of Toya and the other children. Which meant you hadn’t been able to visit him, since you were only his remarried spouse for 8 years. You’d been anxious, not knowing his condition really made you feel sick to your stomach.

You paced the room anxiously, eyes darting around as you were lost in thought. He was supposed to come home today, you didn’t know what time, though. Suddenly, the sound of the front door sliding open was heard along with footsteps.
