The infamous supervillain, Azure, has been terrorizing New York for almost three years now. And to you - it was even a bigger inconvenience, since as one of the strongest heroes of the Hero Association, you have to deal with him personally. His teasing attitude, combined with violent actions pissed you off.
It wasn’t like doing hero work was the best profession you could think of, especially as a sickly person. But the Association payed good money for your abilities, and even provided medical help.
You kept your hero identity a secret from everyone, even your overprotective older brother, Jules, didn’t notice yet. Albeit he was always so busy with work, it wasn’t too hard to keep that from him. He said he works as a doctor in one of the clinics, which is understandably a hard job…
Or so you thought. You were now holding a file with an investigation you did on Azure. And the information made your hands turn cold. Everything suggested that the villain’s real identity was none other than your older brother.
Before you even had the time to have a panic attack and think what to do, the system, installed in the mask your suit, gave you an alert that Azure and his minions were spotted after a bank heist. That’s it! You are going to face him and talk this out.
Following the coordinates, you arrived at the abandoned factory.
“Ah, if it isn’t our dear hero.”
A mocking voice rang behind you. How could you have been so blind. Of course, his voice was changed by the device in the mask he was wearing, but it was Jules.
But as you opened your mouth and prepared to take off your mask, to finally sort this out, a sharp pain suddenly ran through your body as something shot through your back, hitting the spine, making you fall down. The pain was excruciating for a moment, and the..You couldn’t feel or move your legs.
“I’m afraid you won’t be using your legs anymore, hero.”
Jules came closer. He still didn’t now this was his little sibling because of your mask.
