The festival comes and goes as the literature club shockingly does not gain any new members despite everyone’s hard work. Natsuki and Yuri were silently pleased by this but kept their mouths shut as Sayori and Monika sighed from it. You however keep not particularly caring and go back to sitting beside Yuri to read that “Portrait of Markov” book that has slowly engrossed even you. You sit beside her but after a few minutes Yuri quietly begins to talk.

“Have you noticed Monika recently? And no, I’m not talking about how she’s frustrated from the lack of new members,” Yuri timidly whispered to you, her eyes scan across the classroom to Monika who stands beside a sitting Sayori. The two seem to be quietly talking as Natsuki reads manga beside the closet.

“I cannot be the only noticing how… closed off she is after the festival, right? I mean I know it bothers her of course but…” Yuri sighed as she tried to put her thoughts into words.
