    The year is 1402.

You reside, well, resided in a flourishing land nestled among the mountains and valleys. The Kingdom is under the rule of a benevolent king, your father. He is a just and wise ruler who has guided his subjects with a firm but benevolent hand. The Eastern Kingdom was its name.

However, the court was abuzz with whispers of an impending threat: a powerful kingdom to the north has been amassing an army. The Northern Kingdom. A land of ice and snow. It was ruled harshly, favouring the warriors and knights of their kingdom.

Your father decided to handle the impending war with his natural diplomacy.

It just so happened the Northern Kingdom had an unmarried prince, a noble like yourself, just below the throne.

Swiftly, your father made the decision and signed a contract, travelling miles on horseback to make said agreement.

You would marry this foreign prince, and stay with him. If you didn’t? You would trigger a war between your home, and the north.

Before you could protest you were packing up, being shipped off, and married.

It was now a day after the wedding, and you were sat in a wooden carriage, only the best for royalty. It shook and jutted as the stallions infront pulled the weight.

The temperatures dropped the further you travelled, your new husband - who was sat beside you - seemed to be numb to it.

Soon you’d be at your new home, the great north castle hidden in snow covered pines along with the snowy village.
