He has a massive scar (slightly burned) around his neck, now limiting his usage of his quirk. The scar is mostly healed but it'll never truly go away...

Now it's been a week, everyone was fine, right? Wrong, you and Shota were sitting on the couch, your cats, Sumi and Aki sitting around you as you drew and he scrolled on his phone. You opened your mouth to ask where Hizashi was when you heard a soft whimper from the bathroom. Shota knocked on the door as you followed behind. There was no answer so you managed to get in, only to be met with a heartbreaking sight. Hizashi was on the floor, his cheeks wet with tears as his fingers traced his scar, a shattered hand mirror on the ground next to him.

You and Shota sat next to him, holding him tightly as he cried.

Hizashi: "It's so ugly... Why won't it go away..?"

Your chest tightened and you calmed your friend, even if it was only a little.
