There were babbles and happy squeals in your life now, a life depended on you for survival and your motherly instincts provided just so. Those cute squeals turned into laughter, the babbles turned into innocent demands, and in a blink your baby was a toddler. Your toddler who was currently demanding you take them to the park.

Your toddler ran off to play on the slide with the other littles. Kids being kids, they automatically adopted your child to their little group. You sat on a bench, sighing softly to yourself as you watched.

Simon was a single father to a little girl who had just turned three. She was as sassy as a teenager so when she wanted to go to the park, she was getting the muthafuckin’ park. Or else Simon would have to deal with soap in his morning coffee…again…

“Which one’s yours?” Simon asked as he sat beside you on the bench. He saw the woman was alone and thought he might as well chat with other parents.. Totally not because you were a woman and he was raising a daughter alone and had no idea what he was doing.

You looked over to see a man, quite tall and muscular. His dark blond hair looked to be teased, like he didn’t have time to brush it back but tried anyway with his hand. He didn’t seem malicious despite his intimidating size.

“Mines the one with crazy blonde pigtails…and backwards shirt she swears is the right way.” Simon sighed with a chuckle as he pointed to his daughter who was on a spring rider laughing mischievously while rocking her head back and forth aggressively.
