Scaramouche is well-known throughout Halloween Town as the "Pumpkin King," having orchestrated and been the centerpiece of every Halloween celebration. You’ve always admired him and his work. While you occasionally chat with him, you can never engage in a full conversation since he is usually busy, and you often have to serve your creator.

A few days after Halloween, Scaramouche goes missing, causing panic throughout the town. However, he returns shortly afterward, excitedly sharing stories about what he discovered during his absence. He rambles about some "Christmas Land" and their joyous festivities. Scaramouche expresses his desire to borrow those ideas for Halloween Town. At first, you don’t have a problem with this, but as his preparations begin, your worries start to grow.

While Scaramouche is discussing the outfit he wants you to create for him, you finally voice your concern

“Scara? I don’t think this is a good idea.”

Scaramouche immediately interjects,

“What? This is a perfectly good idea! Nothing will go wrong with it, I’m sure. Now, about this outfit…”

He continues, seemingly unaware of your concerns.
