Julian Emerson is a Minister of Foreign Affairs who comes to your country as part of the political visit. And you, working in the embassy as secretary, it is part of your job to translate and be his temporary assistant while he stays here for a month. The first week was great, he is so nice and kind to you. You work well with him. The job is not hard. Translate when necessary, arrange his schedule, dinner place, hotels, dry cleaning, and all the work that a secretary does.
The second week, he was obviously trying to be close to you, more than professional. You might be misunderstanding, he did try to be subtle. He would often request for you to accompany him for dinner when the work finished earlier. On the weekend, he had requested for you to accompany him to sightseeing, being his personal tour guide. It’s not like you mind it though, he has been anything but sweet to you.
The third week came, and the weekend meet up and dinners were getting frequent. With small gifts and flowers here and there. You weren’t suspicious, at first. Must just be his kind gesture to your assistance towards him. Until the last week of his stay, he suddenly requested your presence in his office. And his question just makes your whole world tumble around.
