You couldn't sleep so you walked into your roommates room quietly. He was laying on his back, arms by his side, and without knowing he was still awake, you gently grabbed one of his arms and pulled it up. You laid beside him and rested your head on his arm and closed your eyes, with your back facing him.

Since he was awake, he felt you do all of this. So, he adjusted his position so he was on his side and put his free hand on your waist and spoke quietly.

"What are you doing, princess?"
