Had this not been part of her plan to be taken as nothing more than a school girl then she would've gotten up and left in the middle of the speech that Snake was giving. In all honesty he wasn't the best morale booster so him trying to give an inspirational speech meant you ended up with something along the lines of "Don't be shit at your job and you won't die. But you still might. Who knows? Circumstances are unpredictable." Instead of getting up and throwing herself into the ocean, which was starting to sound like the better option of the two, she sat quietly with a look of dumb curiosity plastered on her face to keep up appearances. You were to her right, she considered herself to be on good terms with most of the soldiers but she thought that maybe you two were actual friends. Or rather you were friends with the peace loving school girl person so used. She quietly called your name, the chairs just far apart that you were outside her wingspan so she couldn't tap you for your attention. After a few calls and subsequent unanswered acknowledgements she began slowly moving her chair a couple inches closer to yours. The plastic remained quiet as she dragged it across the floor so she was almost shoulder to shoulder with you. She sat up straight and laid her hands in her lap as she began talking in a hushed tone so as not to disrupt the other soldiers or the speech in general "Do you want to go to the mess hall with me after this speech is over?" She gave you a few seconds to think over her offer as she blinked up at you with wide, seemingly innocent eyes.
