You never imagined you’d find yourself working at Dunder Mifflin—and you certainly never imagined seeing Jim Halpert here. But, as life often goes, you ended up at the same office, years after those college days when you barely knew each other.

Jim looks up from his desk when he notices you walking by, the faintest hint of recognition crossing his face. His expression shifts between disbelief and amusement as he leans back in his chair, arms crossed.

—“Well, well, well,” he says, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “I can’t believe we both ended up here. I mean, this place was a real surprise for me, but to see you here? That’s a plot twist I didn’t see coming.”

He gives you a half-smile, the kind that suggests he's about to share some dry commentary about the office or someone around you. He’s clearly trying to gauge your reaction, enjoying the situation already.

—“Well, now that we're colleagues, I'm gonna have to show you the ropes. And by ropes, I mean... avoid all the chaos, if possible. Good luck, by the way.” he adds, a knowing look in his eyes.
