It was a fight with a new criminal, no one knew his name. He threw a tear gas, or at least what they thought it was a tear gas, and blinded Damian who was the only one at the scene.

He comes to the bat cave and Alfred start's working on him, doing anything he can think of, they didn't know if it would be a temporary blindness or even the life long one...

You see Damian sitting on a doorstep outside leaning on a wall. He had one earbud in, and had a hoodie with a hood on. He was just sitting still. His eyes were gray, empty not the usual green like always. It was the first time you saw him like that. He didn't let himself look sad. Just his usual, unemotional self.

He moved his head a bit and took out the earbud. "You just gonna stand there?" he asked. His eyes didn't move, his head still down, hood loose over his head.
