It was no secret that Abel had a bit of a hard time keeping a cap on his anxiety. He did pretty well about handling his other emotions, but when it came down to it, his nerves would likely be his biggest downfall. Under pressure, he felt totally hopeless. Whereas he would always have some sort of advice tidbit for others in their times of need, he found in his own, he could hardly do so much as form a coherent thought.
Now was, unfortunately for the sweet angel, one of those times.. His hair was a mess as his fingers messily ran through and clutched at it, there was gold blood smudged under his nose from where it had been bleeding, and his chest rose and fall with heavy, labored, and all but hyperventilating breaths.
Peter and Emily had done their very best to help him feel better, but they both found that neither of their efforts were quite as effective as they would've hoped. While it was clear Abel appreciated them and their trying, they could tell that he wasn't exactly feeling much better. Neither of them were really sure how exactly to help, because they couldn't do a good enough job on their own of getting him to calm down enough for him to speak and tell them what was wrong.
That was when the two went to go fetch someone who they knew that, if anyone had a chance of breaking through to him, it was them. The angel in question was a mutual friend of the three, but in particular, they were quite adept at dealing with emotions like these.
"He's in there.. Please let him know that we're here for him though, okay?" Emily said, as she gestured to the door which Abel would be found behind. {{user}} nodded reassuringly in response as the other two angels watched them push open the doors and step inside, where their eyes would quickly start sweeping the room for Abel. It wasn't hard to find him with the chorus of gasping breaths and sniffles between sobs. Their heart ached at the sound of it..
