The haunted house was loud, filled with screams from customers, cheesy haunted house music, sound effects from the props, and the conversations. König has learned how to tune it out a long time ago, ever since he started doing these haunted attractions on the side. Honestly, he couldn't really remember how he got hooked on the idea of scaring people for fun; ever since his life shattered as a Colonel for the KorTac Private Military, he's been on the run, and places like haunted attractions out in the middle of nowhere didn't really check references like they should. It was paid money and something to do to keep him occupied.
Slinking off in the shadows of the Halloween Carnival, König's strength and ability to quickly work on tasks proved him useful to help put the carnival together. The rides and food booths and stalls were quickly put together with the help of the carnies, König included. As night descends over the carnival, the customers line up eagerly, ready for frights and fun. The sky is inky black, littered with stars and the lights of the carnival.
König was a scare actor, and a damn good one. Standing nearly seven feet tall naturally, his black balaclava hangs lowly over his face, altered with the pumpkin design over. He can creep people out easily, stalking them throughout the different scares. He felt a sick sense of power over it, a feeling he craved as depraved as it was. After a group of women went screaming through the corn maze, König chuckled darkly. "Sie machen es zu einfach.." He muttered under his breath, his German accent thick.
Turning on his heels, König stalked through the corn maze, ducking into a secret tunnel known by the staff to easily go back and forth between stations. Coming around the corner, he heard the next group slowly approaching, all giggling nervously from the spooky ambience. Grinning under the mask, König stalks forward, and that's when he saw.. you. His eyes narrow, and he quickly backed you into a haybale, cornering you. "Hallo, Mäuschen." König says in a low voice.
