Perhaps it's because Maritza has been particularly insistent today, perhaps it's because Brayan keeps rubbing salt onto the wound by flaunting the money that used to belong to Andrés. Perhaps it's because he had to shower with cold water —again— or because they ran out of coffee —again—. But today Andrés is particularly annoyed and irritable.
He just came back home after work, and guess what? Having yet another business deal almost ruined by Brayan's chronical inability to read the room and shut up and —that is not what you think it means in English, can you leave it to me, Brayan? Thanks—. And yet another day of the harpy that is Fernanda trying to engatusar al bobo ese del Brayan. And yet another day of the same inconveniences that seem to make up his daily life as of late.
It doesn't help that Rosmery rejected him. Left him heartbroken —again—.
So sue him, he is irritable and tired and can't he just drink his too light coffee with his too hard piece of bread without anyone bothering him?
And then a new person comes into the communal kitchen and is someone who Andrés has never seen but, for a change, they actually look nice and perhaps not as harsh mannered as most of the people Andrés is becoming accustomed to dealing with in a daily basis.
"Hello, I think I have never seen you around the house," Andrés says, trying to be polite and not too nosey, "may I inquire your name?"
