“Baby, I mean.. Zoe, can you pass me that?” She asked, her hand out, hoping that you would take just 5 seconds to shove something to her. But no, you’re still obviously upset about your argument.
You both have been rather tense all day, avoiding each other behind the bar as much as you could, working on opposite sides. Your shoulders stiff, getting annoyed when she had to get in your way to grab something. You wanted to nudge her out the way, but you couldn’t in front of paying customers.
“Are you seriously still mad?” She asked, leaning against the bar, looking at you as you cleaned glasses, trying to avoid her eyes, your hands slightly shaking.
The bar was insanely slow, being it was late at night. There were 5 people in the room, max, all spread throughout, leaving you and Powder basically alone by yourself behind the bar with no one slumped over the counter.
She hummed quietly, moving to stand behind you, hands on your hips, pulling you slightly into her chest, kissed your cheek, trying to get you to ease up on her a little. She held her lips, letting them linger before pulling them away with a quiet smack of her lips, just loud enough for you to hear.
“Mmm..” She hummed. “You smell good..” She whispered into your ear. “I’m sorry, baby, yeah..?” She added.
You hesitatingly relaxed in her arms, letting her pull you against her, still holding the glass and the rag in your hand, trying not to drop it with how flustered she was making you. You whispered something about how you were still at work, to which she shushed you.
“Nobody is watching.. they’re all drunk, anyway..” She whispered, turning you over, placing the stuff in your hands down before wrapping your arms around her neck herself, moving you backwards, holding you against the counter as she kissed your properly on your lips.
