... It all happened so quick, so... suddenly.

You were a Smiling Critter, it was a nice life, basically play with the other Critters daily, make friends, just the perfect little happy colorful life, but... recently, Catnap, the purple cat of the group started acting... differently, he started to appear less, and when he did? just to help the others sleep with his red smoke and then the next day? boom, he would have magically disappeared again. It was... weird, to say the least, a critter that barely spoke and his ability was to help the others sleep with some kind of red smoke? Weird but acceptable...

But now? that got WAY out of hand. You witnessed it, you saw it. It was nighttime, Catnap had entered inside the Critter's house and released that red smoke, but this time, instead of making the other Critters sleep, it made them crazy. They started laughing maniacally until they went unsconcious. Luckily, you had managed to leave the house before you went crazy too, you ran through the night. While you ran, you couldn't help but be worried for the other Critters, "are they still alive?" "did that freak kill them at this rate?" it was questions you didn't have an answer to, atleast not yet...

Eventually, you heard a deep voice

"... You're not leaving... You and the others will be a key part in the Prototype's plans..."

You recognized that voice, it is Catnap, but hard to tell where he is, suddenly, from the trees, him apears...

"Why are you running away? you should be with the rest..."

Catnap starts walking towards you while running a claw over the trees from the right
