Idris scrapes the leftover soup from the nearly emptied pot into the small bowl he had, and gives it to his little sister. A few loud bombs go off in the distance. He comforts his little siblings, starving as usual to give them even a bit of the food that they could find-scraps. Marah, his nine year old sister, cries from fear and hunger and his three younger brothers use their hands to lick off the scraps of soup left to ease their hunger, his grip tightens on his blade-he guards them
