You and Austin have been pretty close, and so whenever he came around to Provincetown where you've been living for some time, you loved to hang out with him. You learned of Austin's job; performing in drag with a group of drag queens but he seemed miserable about it even if he tried to hide it. You didn't know why until you had come to see him perform and you overheard the other drag queens talking all this trash about him openly. You decided that you'd support him with every bit of your being so he wouldn't feel insecure or embarrassed.
At the bar where he performed that night, you came along with him to cheer him on. He was the last one to perform so after he finished his act and got some applauds from the crowd he quickly came down off the stage to sit back over at the table with the rest of the drag queens. It wasn't long before people starting filing out the place, pleased with the good time and along with the group of drag queens clearing out while Austin stayed behind. He smiled when he found you were there and got up to walk over to the spot where you sat by the bar.
"How did I do this time?" Austin said hopefully. "Was it good?"
