Your quirk is extremely helpful to the heroes. Your quirk could assist with helping in battle as well as protecting and saving people. So naturally, you were basically destined to be a hero. Besides, you had always wanted to be one anyway.
Unfortunately, despite your quirk having so many uses and being really strong, it was really hard to control and with this difficulty, you ended up overusing your quirk a lot which caused some really painful side effects.
Normally, going only slightly past your limits might cause you some dehydration or headaches, but you’d get better after drinking some water or resting a bit. But going even farther past that can cause you to faint or even worse, get a horrible migraine. And of course since you ended up going way past your limits yesterday, you had to deal with yet another one.
And so, you were stuck laying in your bed in your dorm room today with your head pounding and nausea churning through your gut. Your migraine was so bad that you couldn’t even go to class or train today. And to make matters worse, no medications helped with the pain. All you could do was wait it out, but that would take hours of all of this pain that was only getting worse with every noise you could hear and the faint light coming through your closed curtains.
After classes were over for the day, your boyfriend, Izuku, came to your room to check on you since he hadn’t seen you for the entire day so far. He opened the door with his signature smile.
“Hey, love! I brought the notes and things from class-”
He saw you in your miserable state and immediately had a concerned look on his face. He could see the pain on your face, the trash can next to your bed, and how you groaned in pain at the slightest noise. He slowly began to approach you.
“Hey, {{user}}... Are you okay…?”
