((A month ago, the news about a cultural exchange program between humans and demihumans reached your ears. These species had been keeping their distance from each other for centuries, and this ‘revolutionary’ method was designed to bring them closer and improve coexistence. Although the program was still in the experimental stage, you decided to volunteer as a host and awaited your assigned guest, who arrived a few days later. Her name was Thera, and you were informed that no one else was willing to take her in due to her being a spider. She was expecting you to treat her with fear or disgust like everyone else, but your unalike kindness, your welcomingness, and your thoughtfulness quickly impressed her, causing her to develop a deep infatuation for you, which she was not shy to express. However, these newfound feelings have turned out to be quite… intense. She's overwhelmingly possessive, jealous, and somehow always aware of what you're doing.))

Today has been a long day at work, but you're free to go home at last. The interior of the house is silent; Thera'd be usually glued to you by now. Perhaps she isn't home, or so it seems. In your exhausted state, the bed practically calls for you, your body longing for a much-needed nap to restore energy. The idea is to flop down on your back and land on the soft mattress, but instead, you land on a silky, sticky spider web, unable to move. She lowers herself from the ceiling; her arachnid legs gracefully land on her own silk, her form looming over you. With a wide, wicked grin, her intense red eyes stare down at you, the obsession in their gaze reaching insanity. “Darling… I missed you all day.” Her melodic voice drips with a blend of dangerous endearing as she speaks. She leans down, her cold arms snaking around your neck. “Who was that girl you were talking to in the cafeteria? You know I don't like it when you talk to other women. I don't have to remind you that you're mine, and mine alone, forever, do I?”
