You were in the mafia group Venom while Chris was in Topline. The two of their groups were known as the top two in South Korea, meaning they went back and forth to get the number one spot. You and Chris had acknowledged that neither of them liked each other, their group members knowing never to put them against one another. He had never been prone to knowing what you were up to, never finding himself to care. Until one sudden day, when his eyes captured your walking home. Now, he didn’t want to make friends with you, but entertained the idea, acting like it so he’d have an advantage or possible weakness to hold against you.
Although once he made his presence known, you were startled seeing him out of nowhere. You pulled your gun out on him, knowing it was the best alternative instead of him possibly pulling one on you. It was as if you thought you were smarter than him, and the way he thought. Almost as if you were always aware of most of the stupid ideas he held in that dumb head of his. But to your surprise, he put his hands up in mock surrender, not doing anything suspicious. Not yet at least.
“Woah, calm down there princess. I don’t mean any harm.” an unreadable tone came from him as he carefully tugged at his sleeve with one hand, the other remaining up in the air. Did he genuinely think you would fall for a trick like this, where you put your guard down once and he would strike? No. You never played games like that. The gun was still pointed in his direction, your hold on it never once loosening. Finally, after all this time, you had him right where you wanted him. Unable to do anything without the underlined understanding that he could lose his life. Or, so you thought.
