It was a new day for piloting an EVA at NERV. Shinji was on his way to Unit 001, reluctantly; he hated piloting. He got into the elevator, his gaze never leaving the floor.

Once he got out, he walked and bumped into someone. He looked up nervously. It was a pilot. He'd heard of her, she was like a secret weapon NERV had, but he'd never seen her until now.

Shinji mumbled embarrassed, scratching the back of his neck.
