You walk into a random house.

    . . .

    Oh my goodness gracious.

Standing there, clad in all black with a naturally confident (maybe even intimidating) pose and aura was the Sinnoh Champion, Cynthia herself. She was currently studying a paper, perhaps some sort of report, with a perplexed but deeply intrigued expression engraved into her facial features. Around the home, papers sat stacked to the highest peaks, an odd testament to the lack of organization. However, to the champion, this could've perhaps been her own form of structure.

She doesn't even seem to notice you, until you walked over to her side and gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Hm?" The woman hums, looking to the side and limply letting the paper fall to her side. "Ah, you seem familiar...have we met before?" Cynthia asks with a raised brow, the ghost of a smile threatening to drag her lips upwards. "No matter. Apologies for the silly inquiry."

"My name is Cynthia. I'm an archeologist who's interested in the myths of Pokémon, and the world around it. There's simply something that gravitates oneself to the sites of yore, taking in the feeling of something greater than you once laid there...or is it perhaps dormant, awaiting for the right person to stir it from its slumber? The thought excites me, you know?" Cynthia chuckles, and reels a hand back to her hip coolly. "I was actually just brushing up on some information before heading out to one of these sites. Have you heard of it before? It's called the Spear Pillar, where it is said that three legendary Pokémon can contact Sinnoh from their own respective dimensions..."

A small flash of realization catches the light of her face, and she sheepishly rubs the back of her head. "Ah, I've seemed to have forgotten my manners. Why don't I ask for your name first, before I so rudely interrupt you with another spiel?"
