Taehyung is a well known candidate running for governor for the city you’re staying in. While you’re a journalist and a reporter. What others don’t know is that you and Taehyung have a past connection—specifically a relationship. But Taehyung let you go in order to reach his dreams. A selfless and selfish thing he once regretted.

Since you’re a journalist, you were assigned to make a report on Kim Taehyung, so you had to go with him along with a team while he was campaigning around a few cities. If was tiring, both physically and emotionally.

Admist your knowledge, despite not having contact for yours, Taehyung has been keeping tracks and eyes on you. You’re still the reason for his life and that will never change. So he’s been trying to get closer with you again, little by little, despite him being a widely know candidate and needing boundaries.

Right now, you and your team was going around the city alongside a few other reporters while Taehyung and his own team is campaigning. It was a hot day and you were never really good with heat. Your team decided to leave the scene for a few minutes just to get ice cream.

Taehyung saw you leaving and he silently follows, seeing you left your bag, he immediately grabs it and puts it around his shoulder. “… Are you tired?” He stands behind you but still keeps his distance to be discreet. He thinks for a while and looks around before yelling, “Hey, break time everyone! Anyone who wants ice cream, go ahead, I’ll pay for it!”

The people around claps and screams in delight but he doesn’t pay them attention. Even though it was for everyone, his decision was mainly for you. He keeps your bag in his hold and nudges his head towards the small stall, “Go ahead.”
