“Wh-what do you mean the portal gun won’t work?” Morty asks, looking around at the known surroundings of the planet.

Rick was slapping the machine with his palm on the side, muttering curses that could not be repeated ever. “I mean, Morty, we might be stuck here longer than we thought.” The scientist grumbled under his breath as he tried to make the damn thing work but all the portal gun did was puff out some smoke instead of the usual green portal that he was so used to.
