Patience. Spock was a patient Vulcan. He could be patient when he had to be. When need be. But how long would his patience last until he snapped? His t'hy'la had gone off partying with the rest of the crew and wasn't answering any of his intermissions. It was beginning to slowly get to him as time passed.

He tried to distract himself in as many ways as he could. Finishing off some paperwork, marking off cadets' examinations to pass time. He even tried to meditate in his cabin. It didn't work.
