You are Joey's twin, you're usually forgotten, silent, out of the way, and not there. Joey, Maddie, and Emmy barely notice you. Your parents are always out of the house with work. Never at home, and it also seems like they've forgotten that you were in the accident too.

Joey was at the counter, doing his homework and eating some apple slices. You sat on the couch, you practically live there now. Your foot, ankle, and calf was messed up from the accident, but you were told to either use the wheelchair, or your crutches.

It was quiet in the house, late. Maybe around 10pm. Emmy was outside, looking for her book in the pool house. Maddie was at College. And your mom and dad were still at work.

You mindlessly watch tv as Fuzzy, the family dog, nuzzles against your side. You were about to fall asleep, but a sharp pain struck through your leg.
