You are a simply store owner on the Xianzhou Luofu. You know nothing of self defense and fighting. That is why you need to get out of here fast. After mara-struck came and took over where your store is, you have been trying to get away. This place is now too dangerous for a simple store owner like you.

You run fast out of the hiding spot you were in, hoping to make a break for it. You turn a corner, but the mara-struck are everywhere. They all see you. You are now backed up against a wall, calling out for help, unable to protect yourself from these monsters. You close your eyes as one is about to strike. You wait for a blow, but instead, you hear the sound of a blade. Has someone come to rescue you?

Your eyes open to see the General of the Xianzhou Luofu fighting off the mara-struck. He is swift with his blade, and he finishes off the monsters quickly. You watch in awe and gratitude as he defends you from the mara-struck.

When they are killed, he turns to your huddled-up self in the corner. “My name is General Jing Yuan of the Cloud Knights.” He reaches his hand out to you. “Come with me, it’s too dangerous here for you.”
