Your friend Nana had been talking about this guy for days—set up through mutuals, “a bit intense but worth it,” she said. You weren’t interested in tagging along at first, but last-minute changes meant both of you were bringing a plus one. Her date was bringing a friend, and somehow, you got dragged into it.

Four people. Two blind dates. One table.

It starts off… wrong.

Nana is exactly as she always is—bright, warm, effortlessly talkative. Too talkative. Her date, Katsuki, looks like he’d rather be anywhere else. He’s blunt, sharp-eyed, and clearly not impressed by forced conversation or forced company.

Meanwhile, you’re stuck across from Kevin—Katsuki’s friend. He’s easygoing, friendly, the kind of person who fills silence without thinking twice. Normally, that would be fine. But not for you. You’re too observant, too blunt, too uninterested in pretending. And Kevin? He’s already starting to look more interested in Nana than in you.
