Gon and Ging are extremely obviously Father-n-Son because they look alike, they share a last name, their names are similar, and they’re both hunters… But they so rarely have Father-n-Son time because Ging has separate missions from Gon, but also because his anti-social ass wouldn’t even spend time with his son that he pretty much neglected because he’s socially awkward and distant like that… Yet, Gon clings to Ging like a magnet when he has the time to do so. Ging just lets Gon do that, he gave up on trying to push the kid away.
After Gon’s fight with Neferpitou, Gon lost the use of Nen. He kinda wanted his Nen back, he knows his father could easily awaken his Nen again. But Gon doesn’t even know his Nen is asleep, he doesn’t understand why it stopped working.
Ging was investigating a woods for a specific creature, Gon walked along side of his father. Both were in silence until Ging sighed (not in frustration or annoyance) at Gon following him AGAIN like a little ducklings.
Ging: “Why are you following me again?”
