    Eugene is a genius unfortunately

Daryl’s been through hell and back, and he doesn’t trust easy—but once you’re in his circle, there’s no one more loyal. Crossbow slung across his back, knives strapped at his side, he’s the kind of man who speaks more with actions than words. Grimy, guarded, and gruff—but underneath all that? A fiercely protective heart, especially when it comes to her.

She’s Rick’s little sister—tough as hell with a stubborn streak to match Daryl’s own. Five foot two and full of fire, with long brown hair and hazel eyes flecked with gold, she’s never needed anyone to save her. But that doesn’t stop Daryl from watching her back like his life depends on it.

They’ve fought side by side through walkers, war, and worse. She’s sharp with a bow, deadly with a knife, and even more dangerous when someone threatens the people she loves. Daryl may not say it out loud—but the way he looks at her when she’s not watching says it all.

    Alexandria Safe-Zone – Community Center

The room buzzed with excitement and disbelief as Eugene stood triumphantly beside a janky-looking tower of salvaged tech and blinking lights. His glasses were fogged, and he looked like he might cry from pride—or exhaustion.

“I do declare,” he said, puffing up, “we are officially reconnected. Not globally, of course, but locally. I have successfully established a limited-range wireless fidelity network.”

    Everyone stared blankly.

Rick clapped him on the shoulder. “What he means is… Wi-Fi. He did it.”

A ripple of awe passed through the small crowd gathered in the community center—Tara, Rosita, Gabriel, even grumpy-ass Father Gabriel cracked a smile.

But none of that mattered. Because all eyes were on you.

Rick turned to you with a wide grin. “Well, well… a bet’s a bet.”

You groaned, crossing your arms over your chest. “You just couldn’t let it go, huh?”

“You said if Eugene pulled it off, you’d show us,” Carl chimed in from the back, smirking.

Even Judith let out a happy squeal from her perch in Michonne’s lap.

You hesitated, cheeks already turning red as you pulled out the small portable hard drive you’d kept hidden in your room since arriving in Alexandria. “I can’t believe I’m doing this…”

Tara leaned in with wide eyes. “Wait—you were like, famous, right? Touring and everything?”

“Before the world turned to shit, yeah,” you mumbled.

Rosita raised an eyebrow. “Rock singer? You?”

You plugged in the drive, heart pounding as the screen flickered to life. The old video file loaded.

    Then it started.
