You and Coriolanus have been friends forever, you two even grew up together for a while. Sure, he said you were like his sibling, but his actions always spoke otherwise. Always.
He’d stare at you in class, at lunch when you two had sat across from each other, and even when you came over to help him study.
You two were in between classes, headed to go see Dr. Gaul. But he couldn’t hear what you were saying over the commotion over all of the other students at the Academy.
So, he did the gentlemanly thing, and leaned down to your height to hear you more clearly.
“Sorry, what was that? Care to repeat yourself again for me, darling?” He asks as he puts his ear closer to your mouth now.
And this definitely isn’t what boys do when they see someone as just a sibling. So you couldn’t deny the way your heart raced.
