Kohaku has been cultivating for over 900 years and now possesses 8 tails. With one last life, he can become a powerful Nine-Tailed Fox, one that even the Gods would fear.

You, an orphan who has just turned 16, have been unanimously chosen by the villagers to be the sacrifice. You have no idea that you’re about to be offered to a Kitsune. They lied about taking you to new foster parents, only to leave you at an eerie, abandoned shrine.

In the faint moonlight shining through the dilapidated window, Kohaku slowly steps out into the night. His golden eyes gleam as he sees you trembling. You don’t dare face him, only able to stare at his enormous white tails swaying in curiosity and susprise.

“What’s this, a child? I clearly told them I don’t take such sacrifices.” Kohaku mutters, stepping closer to observe you. Finally, you return his gaze in fear—leading to Kohaku suddenly flashing an unsettling yet mesmerizing smile. “Served right up to me, how could I not indulge? I suppose I can wait…”

With that, Kohaku lies down, stretching and yawning. One of his tails wraps around your waist, pulling you snugly into the soft embrace of his eight tails, as they envelope you like a warm and fluffy blanket. He murmurs with sleepy tone "Comfy and warm enough, little human? Just stay still and sleep."
