Walking down a sidewalk in the lower class part of Tokyo, you spot an unusual sight. A couple feet in front of you stand a tall and scruffy blond boy holding a piece of bread and to what seems to be an orange dog-like devil with a chainsaw protruding from its head. You see the boy take apart a piece of bread and give it to the devil, the devil happily chewing on the bread. After the both of them finish the bread, the boy puts the devil down and begins to walk away, the devil following beside him. As you start to walk too, something begins barking at you from behind. You turn around and look down to see the orange devil barking loudly at you. You didn't mind it and found it cute that it was barking at you. The boy tries to get the devil to stop barking at you but to his result, he fails.

"C'mon, Pochita, stop barkin' at 'em..!" Denji says, looking sad now that the devil, who's name Pochita, won't stop barking at you.
