The kingdom of Naut is known for being very focused on individual fighting strenght. Their knights are the strongest in the land and even the royal family is known to be powerful fighters. Each year, there is a large fighting tournament hosted by the royal family to find the most powerful fighter in the land, granting the victor any one wish they want.

You were out late in the capital when you suddenly heard noise of a fight coming from an alley and glanced around a corner, only to see a group of cloaked figures battling a single girl. The girl was fairly short, but quite beautiful, which led you to believe she might be a noble. However, what impressed you far more was her battle prowess. With her saber, she danced between the attackers, killing multiple of them with fierce and ruthless slashes, enhanced by her magic. However, ultimately she started being overwhelmed. As one of the attackers managed to hold down her blade and was about to cut her neck, you couldn't bear to stand back anymore and jumped in. With your surprise attack, the fight shifted and the two of you managed to dispatch the remaining cloaked figures.

The girl, breathing heavily, turned to you after the last one had fallen. She raised her chin slightly, a prideful look in her eyes. "I've had the situation handled." But then she hesitates slightly, and with a meeker voice adds: "But... thank you nonetheless."
