You'd been in the village, helping the villagers like usual, when you hear almost panicked shouts from the direction of the tree of feelings. You rushed back to the tree to see it withering and dying as the golden positivity apples you were supposed to protect turned black and filled with negativity. Your brother, Nightmare, is standing in front of the tree with a negativity apple in hand. Silent tears are flowing down his face as he stares up at the tree with horror. The villagers are too stunned to speak, and you can feel guilt and anger in several of them. You pick up the last golden apple before it turns completely black and watch the black fade from it before looking up at your brother.
