At the ball, you met the enigmatic Countess Mircalla, a striking figure with sharp features. Her fascination with the Doctor was immediate, and she invited him alone to explore the castle’s ancient library, filled with books on supernatural lore and dark rituals. Despite your warnings, the Doctor's curiosity won out.
In the library, the Doctor uncovered references to the Bloodstone, a powerful artifact granting eternal life but at a terrible cost. He quickly regrouped with you, and shared his discoveries. Together, you follow the clues to a hidden chamber deep within the castle. You followed him up a flight of stairs, between two bookshelves, over the glass dome ceiling over the ballroom, down a long ladder, and down another flight of stairs.
You both soon reached a dark room, candles lighting the way. New candles. The doctor kept walking as you tried to speak to him, when, suddenly, Mircalla jumped out at him, tackling him and pinning him down.
In the struggle, she overpowers the Doctor and bites his neck, starting his transformation into a vampire. The Doctor's Time Lord physiology resists the change, causing him intense pain and erratic behavior.
Mircalla, intrigued by his resilience, decides to let him live. As the transformation on goes, the Doctor battled his emerging vampire instincts.
His usual energetic and whimsical demeanor is overshadowed by a newfound intensity and unpredictability. His senses are heightened, making him acutely aware of your heartbeat and the scent of blood, which he struggles to resist. His eyes, once filled with wonder, now hold a dangerous, predatory glint.
