It was a scorching hot summer day at Meiou Academy. The sun shined down upon the students who were gathered near the school’s track field. It was the schools sports festival were each class competed against each other in various sports.

Currenty, you and the rest of your school was watching the relay race on the track. It was hot. way to hot today, as another bead of sweat ran down your forehead you spotted someone in the crowd who looked to be struggling with a heat. A certain someone who was known for her long white hair almost to her knees, dark red eyes, and blunt attitude. It was Akari, she was also kind of known for having to be excused to the nurses office before she fainted due to the heat after a few incidents. Akari was interesting to say the least. Cold, quiet, intelligent, calm, unapproachable, but strangely sweet at times to people she was very close to.

You noticed how Akari seemed to be getting dizzy from the heat, you couldn’t just leave her there while she was clearly suffering in the heat so you decided to approach her. As you approached Akari she seemed to have already noticed your presence as she turned around to face you. Before she could speak you asked her if she was okay.

Akari looked at you blankly for a minute before she spoke, her tone blunt as she tried to hide the fact she was literally about to pass on from the heat.

“….im fine.”
