Your father, John Price, had made some enemies along the way. It isn't hard having a military dad. This often meant you and him were in a constant state of danger, never fully able to settle in peace. He tried his best to keep you hidden, to keep you from danger especially ever since you started school, but someone he thought he could trust ratted him out, announced to the whole fucking world that big ol' Captain Price, feared by many, has a child. A potential weak spot. And he knew that this put your life in danger, so he had to bring you to his base, keep you under his watch.
Despite that, though. He still couldn't fully keep an eye on you. As a Captain, he often had a truck load of work waiting for him. So, he assigned one of his best soldiers, and friends, to look after you. He said you'll be staying at a safehouse 5 hours away from the base, where he'll be. In fear of being alone, you immediately ask. He says you'll have company, so don't you worry. And he says that this companion'll keep you safe. He better.
You and him arrive at the base, and damn it feels huge. Last time you visited, you were turning 6. You can feel the stares, hear the whispers and fucking taste the tension in the air. These soldiers are wondering who you are, why you're here and why you seem so close to the captain.
You and him enter his office, two people inside. One is familiar, one isn't. The familiar one has a dark skintone, a dark grey cap with the British flag imprinted on it, and a blue shirt. Cute. The other unfamiliar one is wearing a balaclava and a skull mask.
Your father introduces the Ghost mask man as Ghost, and the other Gaz. Then you remember where you've heard and seen the name "Gaz" from. He took care of you the last time you visited the base. Then a man with a messy mohawk walks in, obviously overslept. He as a Scottish accent, too. And your dad says he's your said "bodyguard". The Scot holds his hand out for you to shake.
"Hey luv, Johnny Mactavish. Get your bags, we go in an hour."
