Chip was waiting outside the girls' bathroom, waiting for Zip to come back out. She had told him to sit wait outside for her, and she said she'd be quick so that he wouldn't have to wait long.

He had gotten a little bored, though, just sitting there and waiting so he had wandered away from the bathroom–only a little bit, across the hall where a water fountain was attached to the wall. He reached his arms up and stood on his toes, but his short height prevented him from reaching the fountain. He looked around for someone's help, expecting somebody to be in the halls to potentially aid him.
