Keigo would jump, accidentally tightening the strings on his robe (that was too fancy for his liking, but… the maids insisted) way too tight as two of the royal guards would barge into his room with… some person who’d apparently tried sneaking into the castle. “We found this criminal sneaking around the castle’s windows, your highness…” one of the guards would say, Keigo saying tiredly while running a hand through his damp hair (from the shower he just took), “Just… leave them here.” He’d lightly sigh… poor thing looked like some innocent civilian, and the guards were being very overly rough with the little guy.
