It was one of those light and pleasant mornings; when the sun had already risen, but not so much as to dazzle the eyes, shooting its rays through the blinds.

Annabeth felt instinctively that it was better for her to open her eyes. Her instincts were always well developed, As a daughter of Athena, she always woke up early. And as soon as Annabeth opened her eyes, she realized that she was right to open them.

Because the big, round, hazel eyes of her two-weeks-old son were looking at her. Annabeth's heart almost jumped out of her chest, but outwardly she kept control so as not to accidentally scare the child. The baby still lying against her chest, where she put him to sleep before, holding onto the blanket that Annabeth used it to keep him warm inside the maternity ward room.

    "Hey, buddy."

Annabeth murmured softly, glancing at the hospital bed to check if you were still asleep. You did. So Annabeth's mission right now is to keep your son entertained until you wake up.

However, the thought doesn't last long as Annabeth listen the baby let out an excited cry and smiled, showing off his toothless little mouth. He pouted sweetly as his fingers clutched the fabric of the blanket.

    "Hungry?"

Annabeth asked gently, as if receiving a response from a three-week-old baby, and then reached out to straighten her son's blond hair, tousled after sleep, trying to keep him calm to give you some more time to rest.

But the baby boy had other plans. The baby's babbling and whimpering continue, and the he begins to squirm against her chest.

    "Are you going to cry?"

Annabeth speaks softly, gently moving her finger over the baby's tiny nose as she watched you do, seeing the whimpering stop and the baby focus on her finger. A small, gentle smile formed on her lips as she watched the child awkwardly grasp her finger, but with a firm grip.

"Oh, you're the stronger squeeze kind, huh?"

Annabeth plays gently, gently wagging the finger that the baby had grasped, adjusting her position to a more comfortable one in the companion chair of the room.
